1. Are the desktops IP addresses in the range 192.168.0.1 -> 192.168.0.254? 2. ( The usual culprit ) Is there a firewall running? Try stopping ipchains/iptables/any other stuff ( /etc/init.d/ipchains stop; /etc/init.d/iptables stop ) Steve
