Interesting difference... I cannot see or think why the two would differ
like that, but it could well be a reason why things are not working (that
root and ajt see different results from the auth database)
I'm afraid I'm now at the stage I would want to play with the system to try
and work out what's going on.
Andrew, I do urge you stick at it, and try and work out what the problem is,
and let us know...
(Something to try, can you su to the 'spare' account from ajt?)
