They're not about to fade any time soon. MS are currently in the process of reinventing them selves on mobile technology. Considering this you might see why I've been asking so many questions about PDA's and WiFi. We're all focusing on desktop technology at present in the linux world (from what I can see). MS are playing with tablets (which has really pissed off the manufactures because they don't feel they got good support for hardware they spent millions developing).
