How about providing some useful information, like telling us exactly
what file you downloaded, and where you downloaded it from.

As Jim said, you're better off installing Firefox using your
distribution's package management system. You should strongly prefer
installing software using this method than building from source, unless
you have a very good reason to build a particular application from
source.
