Probably any one would do. Don't forget bash, and NTshell is far more capable than most give credit for - Windows' best kept secret, like Tcl/Tk is Linux' best kept secret. Just my 2 cents worth. No flames required. Your problem is an old one that I have yet to see a solution for. The prospect of the same file revised at both ends is the Nemesis. Not that I have given up hope.
