Put man:/ into Konqueror and you will see the list. i love all those extra urls in konqueror. some of my favourite; smb:/ - browse a remote samba/windows share fish:/ - browse an ssh server camera:/ - look at your camera's pics lan:/ - browse your lan. man:/ - as referred to above info:/ - i believe does for info pages what man:/ does for man pages. device:/ speaks for itself there are also cool url abbreviations like: gg:don gould silly question - search google and receive a million hits rf:procmail - search rpmfind for procmail rpm's wi:802.11b - search the whatis database - you can see many more and define your own somewhere in konqueror's settings dialog - sorry this is a bit vague, not got konq here and vnc is being silly. These should all work from the "run command" dialog too (Alt-F2). One of my commonest keystroke sequences is "Alt-F2, gg:topic" to open a konq window with a google search on topic. ok so you end up with zillions of konq windows open, but thats what the close button is for (or Alt-F4) > > -- > Sincerely etc. > Christopher Sawtell > > NB.
