Please, next time you send a message about a new subject to the list could you 
send it as a new message.  Not as a reply to somebody else's posting, even if 
you change the subject, because it interrupts the flow of conversation in a 
thread of messages. Doing that is known as 'Hijacking the thread' and there 
are a few subscribers who get rather hot and bothered over it.

Mandrake 8.1 is rather old now you know. Many, many bugs have been fixed since 
then.
