FC2 has support for 22 ( if I counted correctly! ) ISA sound cards. By default, they are all available as modules. If you install the kernel source, cd to /usr/src/linux-2.6.5-1.358, and run make menuconfig ( make xconfig is unreadable... due to some cock up on the anti-aliasing front I hear ), and work your way down to Device Drivers->Sound->Advanced Linux Sound Architecture->ISA Devices, then you'll get a list. After that, it's just a case of getting the correct module loaded, or building a new kernel with it incorporated, if you prefer. However, that may take some time on a P200!Hi,
I've installed fedora core 2 on an old PI 200 which has an ISA sound card.
The problem is that the soundcard will not be detected, and sndconfig is
no longer available.
Does anyone have any ideas how I might get my sound card working?
