CVS back to my local server with changing IP from my live server is working great! Thanks again guys.
Now, the next fun challenge :-) I want to be able to access my local servers regardless of the changing IP from anywhere in the world. Now the first step will be to extract the ADSL external ip which I'm sure I can do from the telnet interface. Then I can publish that ip onto a remote website using scp or a web form every x minutes. But what would be really cool would be to combine it with a dynamic dns server like hn.org to update the ip on the fly so that Ihave a domain name that always resolves to the changing IP. Has anyone on this list done this before? I seem to remember it being discussed a long time ago... Any thoughts, tips, ideas, sample code would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
