Hey there
Speaking of nvidia, I thought i'd ask for some help. :)
I have an nvidia Geforce FX 5200, which works very nicely (currently using gentoo nvidia-glx-1.0.4496, nvidia-kernel-1.0.4496-r3)
I can do twinview just fine at 1024x768 res on both my monitor and tv, all is good.
BUT
What I want, is to keep the resolution I have on my monitor (1280x1024) and somehow just show 1024x768 on my tv, so I can watch movies etc, and just stretch/compact the xine/mplayer window when I need to..
When I have twinview working at the 1024x768 res, here is what is in my XF86Config file:
Option "TwinView" Option "SecondMonitorHorizSync" "30-50" Option "SecondMonitorVertRefresh" "60" Option "MetaModes" "1024x768, 1024x768" Option "TVStandard" "PAL-B" Option "TwinViewOrientation" "Clone" Option "NvAgp" "1" Option "AGPMode" "4"
Now i've tried various combinations of things there, but I really can't get it to do what I want.
Can anyone help?
Mike
