The CLUG will be holding a follow up meeting to fix lingering problems and
questions following the recent Installfest. The meeting is THIS THURSDAY
22 July at 7.30 pm at the Sydenham Community Centre in Hutcheson Street
Christchurch. There is a map here http://canterbury.lug.net.nz/map.jpg.

Numbers may be linited. Please let us know in advance that you are
coming by emailing the workshop co-ordinator (me) at [EMAIL PROTECTED]
with the subject "Workshop Registration". Please include some details of
your problem(s), and information about your machine and the distro that
was installed. The name of your installer on the day would be helpful. I
will try to give you some initial advice and make a note of your problem.
I will be your first point of contact between now and Thursday. I may
publish details of your name, email address and your problem to the CLUG
email list.

Like at the fest you need to bring your computer, all peripherals, a long
extension cord and a multibox. Please bring the CD's you were given on the
day. If you are trying to get your modem going you will need to bring the
lead that you usually connect to the phone line with and DO NOT FORGET to
bring your ISP's dialup number, your ISP username and your password.

Please carefully note any error messages you have been getting. Its
somewhere between difficult and impossible to diagnose a problem described
as "I clicked on the icon that looked like a printer and it didn't work".
