Yes, but only for 30 days. Be aware that updates are password
protected, and you have to buy the license to get the password. The
free password I'd expect to stop working after 30 days. Nobody sane
would run without updates.

Still, fair offer. No idea how much it costs, but the previous version
was several times cheaper than RH. A copy of SLES8 is on the Novell
training media which was used recently on the course (which were
mentioned on this list), but that wasn't including any updates.

I hear there are a few seriously helpful server system configuration
things in yast in SLES, so good chance to peek for the cost of the time
involved. I'm still debating whether I have the time...

Anyone downloaded yet? We should share disks. Interest...?

SuSE has been available preinstalled on IBM hardware for yonkies years.

True. I'd be prepared to offer installation for a small fee. Perhaps
CLUG would also be interested in taking this up.
