A user friendly way of accessing the command line is to use the konsole
application from the KDE desktop.

Once this application has been opened there are several configuration settings
available from the drop down menus.

On the drop drop down menu Settings, there is the option to Save Settings
Profile. This saves your custom set up for reuse. A dialog box will appear
requesting you give this profile a name.

The profile settings file will be stored in;

/home/<user>/.kde/share/apps/konsole/profiles/

To access this profile launch konsole as follows;

konsole --profile <profile name>
