My 2 year old has discovered the games on www.thewiggles.com.au, which he thinks are pretty neat. They are written in flash, which mostly works on Linux.

Sigh! Why is it that the vast majority of flash games are so deadly lame.

The other problem is your kid tends to end up on "Flash Game" collection sites which are problematic from 2 points of view....
1) Some of the games are pretty sicko.
2) Some of the sites are getting there revenue from hard core porn site
ads. "But Dad, I just click on a game and this just came up."

Eventually I gave up on that route and went to http://www.computerbroker.co.nz and I have bought the Kids a cheapo second hand box and a bunch of $10 games (the very littles love Lego stunt rally) from EB's in Northlands.

If son and daughter start fighting over who is going to play, I take daughter and show her Tuxracer, pingus, ... on the linux machine.

I also bought Neverwinter Nights from The Warehouse for $26, (you can d/load a linux client for it).

Definitely better than #%$$$#! useless flash game sites.
