No, it's not obviously corroded.
Yes, I've opened it up and can't see anythong wrong. Reseating memory in
some of the other servers worked, but not this time ):

The real problem is space... I've got 5 systems running here already, and a large UPS in/arround a 1.2m comms cabinet ( this is just my side of a 10x8 foot 'office' ). Being able to rack it with the switch makes it a better option than stacking another box on the top!
