Konqueror - file previews

I can have a directory view open in the left-most window (side-bar?), 
and can show the files in the selected directory in the next window. I'd 
like to be able to create another window that previews the currently 
selected file. Three windows total - vertically split - showing 
directory, file, preview.

If I up/down arrow or click in the file window, I'd like the preview to 
be updated as well.

Is this possible?
Also:
How can I change the single-click to preview to a double-click?
How can I get the image preview to automatically fit to the window?
