gmail crashes mozilla

Hi, I'm having a little play with gmail to make my own decision re 
tinfoil etc.  If I use mozilla (1.6) after sending off my user/pwd 
mozilla will then crash every time, along with the mail client if that's 
running too.  Firefox is fine.  I've not noticed this problem with any 
other sites yet (relatively new suse install), and a quick google wasn't 
helpful.  Anyone have any ideas why?
