evolution file|save as.

wmv's are certainly playable under linux, you probably need w32codecs,
which SuSE does not stock, presumably for copyright reasons. I couldn't
fine id for SuSE recently, but didn't look too hard. [in gentoo it is
easily installed, c'est la vie]

again no need for wine, probably a codec issue again. mplayer has no
issues, esp on hardware that grunty, I play them on an athlon 1100.

suggest you try the ati drivers, or xorg 6.8 - googling should help.
