As a raw new comer, ANYHTING would be welcome. Having said that, some kind
of logical overview as a means of helping myself would be good. You know,
where to get info to solve a basic problem, how to understand the info
when you get it...

For example, i had fun and games over the weekend trying to find out how
to change the name of the computer. Sure, you all know to edit the
/etc/hostname file (I think!! can't remember now!), but I didn't' and
spent a good hour and a half on the internet googleing the wrong questions
until I finally got there.
Good sites for info, tutorials, etc

having said all that, I'm not even sure if I can make it!!!!! I though the
meeting was later in the month and my wife might be busy leaving me to
hold the baby...

hope to be there

Leif
