I will have a laptop, but I am glad I do not have to organise a
projector :)
My talk on X11 is suitable for ânewbiesâ. It has very little
Linux-specific content, as X11 is not Linux specific :) By the end of
the discussion you will:
* Have clients and servers sorted out,
* Understand why some applications look quite different from
others, and
* Know how GNOME, KDE, Freedesktop.org relate to each other.
Old hands are welcome to hinder the speaker at every turn by drawing him
into arguments, pointing out errors with minute details, and saying rude
things in hushed tones that cannot be heard over the wirr of the
projector. :)
