 average merge time: 7 hours, 4 minutes, and 38 seconds.

actually i did believe that that file was not used if i had set
PORT_LOGDIR, but i have just found out i was wrong

now how to work out what date is represented by 1098079756 seconds since
1.1.70


by the way do you know about genlop?
