Re: ClUG aims and objectives. As I understand it the groups PRIME purpose is the sharing information supporting and help fellow Linux Users/Enthusiasts.
IE cooperatively learning about and supporting Linux users this in my opinion has been the basis of most Linux user groups I have observed. It appears from this thread that Rik may feel that the purpose of the group should be to promote Linux use to the general public rather than supporting and sharing information as it's main goal? If that is the case I suggest he may wish to consider staring a group or promotional group with that sole purpose which is fine with me :-) I have found the general tone of this thread offensive and unnecessary and believe it is actually doing a disservice to the Linux Community.
