I consider myself to be pretty patient . . .

How on earth do you expect any help with this if you won't even tell us in your post what email client you are using?

If you were using mozilla I'd point you in the direction of the Edit menu but would have expected that you would have at least spend 60 seconds exploring menus yourself before posting a question like this . . . And then you wouldn't have needed to post a question like this!
