Depends on what you actually want to see and how fast you want it to update. I've only been glancing at the thread (given that I just walked into a 5.5 MB backlog from just this list), but it seems to me that you might be able to get away with a transparent, full screen terminal, set to the lowest z position. Depending on your window manager, you can convice it to skip the terminal in the window list, too. I think your solution will depend on deciding what is important. Best of luck, Greg --- -
