Good question. Very good question. Thank you. But how can one go "back"
to something which one hasn't left behind (yet)? Until Linux can achieve
(for this user) what has been done with Windows, then Windows will continue
to be used. Ultimately, however, Windows cannot give competition to "Open
Source" which is given freely. ;)

Anyway, we can also ask the same as to why anyone involved with Hare
Krishna would be involved with Linux, or technology, generally. That is a
very good, and essential, question. Ultimately *only* because of knowing
that there is something/someone much more powerful than any of it will (or
can) ever be. Very simple (and supremely sublime). Thank you again for the
good question. Ultimately society is better without such modern
"conveniences" however, but for those using such "conveniences" for a higher
purpose, they must NEVER forget that higher purpose, and must remember
always that (ultimately) all the temporal things of this world must be given
up.

It is profitable to also remember that Linux is NOT the ultimate
reality, but does have a place in reality, in this relative world, which is
only a small part of the total reality. But Linux is, after all, only a very
small part of the total reality (as are we all), and NOT the ultimate
reality, ever. Still, on the relative plane of existence, Linux (and OSS) is
opposing greed, and greedy people. That is good. Greed is never good. Hence
the interest in Linux from some of the members of Hare Krishna. Actually,
ultimately, we are all parts of Hare Krishna (that is a very deep subject).
There are (of course) many online forums (fortunately) where one can find
out about this, and about Hare Krishna (just as there are for Linux). Why?
Because it is "Open Source"... :) Hare Krishna is very personal (and good).
True "Open Source" is always good, and never greedy. :) Hoping this finds
all well.
