running htdig

Hi, I am trying to get htdig to index the rute manual, of which I have 
the html version on this machine.  I've had a look at the documentation 
to the best of my ability, located after using locate and whereis to 
find where "things" are.  I need to run rundig...

SuSEbox:/home/roger # /usr/bin/rundig
DB2 problem...: missing or empty key value specified
htmerge: Document database has no URLs. Check your config file and try 
running htdig again.

I have added this line to htdig.conf:
start_url:        /windows/E/Linux Resources/rute  (this being the 
folder containing the html files etc)

SuSEbox:/home/roger # /usr/bin/rundig
htmerge: Unable to open word list file '/var/lib/htdig/db/db.wordlist'.
 Did you index anything?
 Check your config file and try running htdig again.
The file db.wordlist does not exist in that location, only 
db.wordlist.new.  So I tried copying the latter as db.wordlist:

I'm stuck now - can anyone tell me where I'm going wrong or what I need 
to do?
