Tried this script but it simply booted to windows...

Several partitions showed up /dev/hdc1 to hdc7
hdc5 to hdc7 showed as the Linux partitions but when trying to mount them I
again ran into the error message:
can't find /dev/hdc5/mnt # or any listed partition

seems my Linux has been fried!

I'd like to bring my computer to the meeting on Weds and re -install SuSE.
This time I'd like to reduce the XP partition size and put in a few more
Linux ones to better enable me to backup data (eg. DVD sized chunks) -/ ,
/boot, /home, /var, /swap, /usr, /data....
and maybe space to try out some other distros.

Would appreciate a 'mentor' for the disk partitioning / re-sizing using the
in-built SuSE partitioner...

Anyone else out there who might 'like' to help on the night would be much
appreciated....I don't wish to distract from the planned programme of
events...just quietly plod away in the background.

Cheers

Ralph
