So I could call you all sorts rude and offensive things in public and be legally safe? And nobody say I don't believe them to be true! I find that hard to believe. I have however heard that the opposite is true: saying things about someone else, even if true (eg "company XYZ on the West Coast is destroying the environmetn by ..."), can get you successfully prosecuted.
