what modules are loaded? the ltmodem driver usually loads lt_modem and
lt_serial (although the names might be ltmodem and ltserial)

I think the device name is /dev/ttyLTS0 or something like that, you may
need to manually link it to /dev/modem

after that try and see what scanmodem says, available here:
