France: yup it's starting to get chilly - most days -3 to +3, but I am waiting for it to get a bit more exciting yet with the arrival of the white stuff, maybe this weekend - fingers crossed. However I am making the most of the frosts by riding my motocycle throughout the winter!

oh something ON topic - there are some domestic orientated structured wiring solutions that go by the name "OpenHouse" - maybe of interest to someone.....

pps. this note comes courtesy of my newly repaired laptop screen - I have just successfully performed surgery to replace to backlight. Quite interesting to learn how LCD panels work!
