What RSS aggregator do you recommend? I would prefer a GNOME/GTK-based
client. I have looked at the websites Straw, Blam and Liferea but they
all look quite immature - I would be surprised if there is not a more
mature RSS client for GNOME!

There is one in Firefox and Thunderbird (www.mozilla.org). The Firefox one is perfectly integrated and RSS is displayed like a bookmark folder. The one in Thunderbird is a bit like a new mail-account. Both applications are very good and which is very important for me platform independent.
