Just another example of what used to be a great Linux version going down the drain. Even since 9.1 Mandrake has been getting less and less reliable (in my experience). SuSE is a good option, as long as a user doesn't ever want to install anything that SuSE don't provide (again, my experience trying to find mplayer, putty, and a few other packages). Thats why I keep returning to Gentoo, yes I know it's not everyones "cup of tea" but for me its great. The selection of packages is second-to-none and its proven to be basically rock solid for me. (And yes I have tried Debian Sarge which is also a good distro, but Gentoo wins me over for its excellent up to date package selection, support, forums, mailing lists etc.)
