I'd like a copy please, if that's possible? VMware burble on about being a group registered on either the linux counter:- http://counter.li.org or http://www.linux.org The people who were originally mentioned as the contacts for CLUG on those sites have both moved on to other interests, and the pages which were linked off those sites are moribund. I have therefore - by personal executive fiat - taken on the role of official contact person for the CLUG - currently I do have the time available. The requisite changes have been made to the http://counter.li.org site. I have made the home page link refer to http://clug.inode.co.nz , but will change that as soon as the content there gets the 'official' domain name. It appears that bjorn, who is the current contact for CLUG on the linux.org page has disappeared. Does anybody know how to contact him? > On Sat, 2005-01-15 at 10:45 +1300, Nick Rout wrote: > > On Sat, 2005-01-15 at 09:50 +1300, Volker Kuhlmann wrote: > > > > I'm happy to go ahead and organise it ...I guess the main issue is am > > > > I going to stand on somebodies toes if I do so ? > > > > > > No, and anyone with sensitive toes has time to speak up now or forever > > > hold their breath. > > > > > > > Is there a 'president' of CLUG pursue ? No, It's a 'horizontally-organized' & loosely knit group. Normal commercial software EULA. i.e. "You can't share it, and you can't blame us if something goes wrong" I'm sure you know the system. They expect word of mouth and http link publicity in return. It's a one-off offer. -- Sincerely etc., Christopher Sawtell
