Melbourne IT are also the registrar responsible for "the loophole" that took panix.com off the air last weekend. Of course, the domain panix.com was registered, held and locked at a US registrar who has absolutely no connection with Menbourne IT. Go figure.


I've used DiscountDomains.co.nz happily. My initial choice of them was the fact that they would action a registration and be paid by cheque (although there's a couple of dollars surcharge). This can be important for a small business that hasn't bothered to get a credit card.
