Greetings,
David, thanks for that; it will be useful on the day. Is the last line of your message the entry to be added to /etc/exports?

Rob,

I have only 1 system with a DVD, is it possible for me to access this system
over my LAN from a machine with no OS on it to do a network install of some
type?

I am going through exactly the same thing. I have copied the contents of the DVD to a Linux server on the network. Added an entry to /etc/exports to make it available with NFS.

Put in the mini-installation disk and press F3 to get a list of
installation methods[1]. Select NFS, tell it the IP address and
directory on the remote server and Bob's your Aunties live in lover.

If the PC with the DVD drive is a Windows PC, you could put it in to a
shared folder and select SMB when doing the install.
