and the performance / affordability etc of Internet access from the time they took over control
of system from Victoria University could have something to do with it.
Thanks to them New Zealand still has high cost and poor performance by International standards.
But what the hell (TM) we don't need a knowledge economy here as long as the shareholders are
happy.
PS I don't want to encourage a flame war, I just suggest that people on this list might have very good
reasons for their choice of ISP as well as performance. I am well aware that Telecom profits from
All Internet traffic apart from satellite in New Zealand.
