I don't want to sound negative, but, isn't this re-inventing the wheel?

Why do you think that re-wheeling is bad?

Have you asked SourceForge how many CMS projects it hosts recently? (Difficult to tell with their Yahoo search engine thingy, but it's over 1250 ... http://sourceforge.net/search/?type=soft&exact=1&q=content+management&offset=1250 )

The wheel is constantly being reinvented all over the IT market, because it can be. Actually, the vehicular wheel is also being reinvented constantly - viz. recent articles about non-pneumatic wheel research/products for cars.

Every CMS user has different ideas about how they want to manage their input documents, their design elements, and their output.
