Andrew Turner's howto on the clug wiki has proved fruitful for me so
far, having just booted my explora 451 via tftp on netbsd. The kernel

network

naturally it stops, unable to mount a rootfs, and it seems to have no
dhcp luck with the extremely flaky dhcp server in the dse xh1169
router/dsl modem, but progress is upon us!
