He'd also update the BIOS and Embedded Controller. If it was a more recent machine, he'd blow way a few hours and do for Linux what IBM does for Windows on the later models. i.e. "Press this button on boot up and your machine will have a Lazarus experiernce". > (Actually, I know). =;^) :-)
