An update:

I misunderstood what I was told last night. I was told that the work had been 
completed. It turns out that the only work completed was the disconnection (10 
days after we shifted).

Now I have to wait more for the reconnection to the new house.

Apparently this would not happen if I was with Xtra (and not with Orcon)

Try convincing me that this is not anti-competitive.

Unfortunately on the day our ADSL is supposed to be running in our new house 
the UBS service has an outage (apparently caused by a power cut) so we cannot 
be sure if we are not running because of the UBS outage or our connection not 
being switched over correctly.

I would be very grateful if anyone else using UBS could phone me when it is 
back up so I can test our connection.
