Thanks for your comments. Both apps run on Win98SE, so no problems there. Does 3D stuff work at all? I have a map viewer with 3D renderer, but I think it will render in software if there is no 3D acceleration on the video card. Are you using Debian? Win4Lin website says Debian is not explicitly supported, but is known to work. Having said that, $45 does not seem too high a price to pay on a whim, even if only one of my apps works I'll be half way there! Andy
