I have also tried flphoto and GTKam to access the camera. What apps are
you folk using to download photos?


Once udev is set up, you can use cp or the WM to get the files off the camera.

I think udev is a major step forward in making linux user friendly. I bet Douglas might disagree... all the effort that he put in to the USB media conundrum *just* before is came out (:
