Try replacing /dev/cdrom with one of the following depending on which
IDE ribbon the CD drive is attached to, and whether it's jumpered
slave or master:

Primary Master - /dev/hda
Primary Slave - /dev/hdb
Secondary Master - /dev/hdc
Secondary Slave - /dev/hdd
