If you are saying you don't have a view on software patents you should do a little research IMHO. They will not improve your computing experience.
OTPH if you really think the ability to buy goods online should be limited to the one entity that wants to hold the patent on the concept, and its licensees then go ahead, support sw patents. Just don't sell anything on ebay or trademe, you might get sued for infringemment.
