What desktop environment do you use? I use KDE and have been using GnuCash for a while now, it was really the only thing I could find for finance management. In my particular case (Slackware) it was a bit of a PITA to install because it has weird dependencies. Also, I am biased in that I don't like it because it doesn't fit in with the rest of my desktop. Just in the last week I have stumbled across KMyMoney and have started to give it a shot. So far it seems really good (bearing in mind that I use it for personal finance not business, but I'm sure it handles that too). All that was a long winded way of saying; Yeah, GnuCash is good, and check out KMyMoney too. HTH hads -- Real Programmers don't write in PL/I. PL/I is for programmers who can't decide whether to write in COBOL or FORTRAN.
