I booted it off the CD and had a play for about an hour, so my message is:- 
Overall it looks good! very good, but the Gnomes will probably disagree. :-)

Fonts inside the applications look absolutely horrid. Kerning is very random.
This is so easy to fix, I'm staggered that they did not take the trouble to 
get it right, 

It's as slow as a wet week running off a live CD with a 2.4.x kernel and 6.8.1 
X-11 server. i.e. KDE should go and look very much better when installed 
properly with up to date support systems, and fonts.

Nothing crashed, but I didn't try every app.
