Hi Robert, and other 'fest instigators I would be happy to lend a 'server machine', possibly two (2.8Celeron, >=512Mb, 1GB Nics, the appropriate switch and 160Gb plus hard drive ) to be used for the install fest, if that is any help. I also have usb external CD burner, spare monitors, spare NICs, 512Mb flash disk and cables which can be borrowed for the 'fest as well. If you have an old laptop I might have a PCMCIA nic availble if you don't have another way of connecting them.
If you need some thing downloaded I have a 2Mb connection, unlimited bandwidth so can download a gig or five of data prior to the 'fest if you need it. The joys of running a business, spare machines and equipment. Let me know your plans as I would love to join you. I also promise to sanitise my lending machines so no trace of *doze can be found. I don't drink beer but is there a wine shaped space in your beer fridge?
