C-x ( will start a kbd macro.
C-x ) will end a kbd macro
C-x e will run the last macro which (to me) does not seem a lot harder than C-f2.
Fair enough. If you're using one macro.
But what if you are regularly using a combination of 3-4 different macros in an editing session? You need to store them somewhere. Might as well make it easy.
