Well it's not exactly the end of the world you know. I have those packages built and installed. I have a cable connection. 500Megs is about 5 hours and local NZ traffic is discounted 90%. What the heck? Essentially just a minor nuisance, that's all. It would have been nice to be able to offer them to friends, but it's just too bad. Given me the disk space. > Anything I can d/l at school tomorrow? Sources for anything you want that is not on the CONTENTS list which was published earlier today. i.e anything more than half esoteric. ftp://linux.jetstreamgames.co.nz/pub/gentoo/releases/x86/2005.0/packagecd/CONTENTS This is the URL of the source packages. ftp://linux.jetstreamgames.co.nz/pub/gentoo/distfiles. Take care there's 9 ~ 10 gigs in there! What might be a good idea is for you to get the .iso packages image for your machinery if you are wanting anything other than that for a P4, or an AMD64. AFAIK Those are the architectures for which we are catering at the moment.
