Mandrake 10 Apache 2 & PHP bcmath

        Mandrake 10 official
        Apache 2.0.48
        PHP 4.3.4

Has anyone running this set up have the PHP bcmath functions running?

I don't. I installed the php-devel4.4.100mdk development source code. This 
supposedly enables you to compile binary shared object files similar 
to /usr/lib/php/extensions/mysql.so

Damn thing wont compile. 

How did you get it to work?
